Intros – The Climb #865 - Adrian Faulkner

Today was always going to be an odd day. Warcraft Wednesday is tomorrow and as such, getting stuck into anything today would just result in that momentum being broken the next day. So the plan for today was to do some prep work.

I want to do a bunch of videos. These can take a lot of time, but my experience doing the vlogs means that I have an idea how to speed up the process.

One of those is having the intros done so they can just be slotted in like a piece of LEGO. To differentiate between all the projects, I want a different log for each. I managed to get two done today and they’re looking great.

I would have done more but I’ve really been struggling with equipment.

First the earpad on my headphones fell off yesterday. I found if I put them on my head I could wedge the pad in place, but everytime I took them off, I ended up with my pad flying across the room.

Secondly my mouse has been randomly connecting and disconnecting. That’s made playing Warcraft difficult, especially as I use an 18 button mouse to play the game. It’s made making videos even more difficult.

Thankfully, I had replacements for both come today but not until late in the day.

Tomorrow will represent the last day of my mini Wowcation. If everything goes to plan, I’ll unlock flying tomorrow. That should make callings a lot easier, and I plan to use that to get some characters’ renown caught up.

Then from Thursday it’s going to be a chaotic mix of producing videos, writing on various things and Warcraft grinding. I’m sure I want to get more done in a day than I can feasibly do, but I’d like to have a big push in July.

Lots to do and today’s work with technical challenges did a lot to get that set up. It’s good to finally have some projects that have been bubbling under on the go. I just now need to juggle all these projects and not drop any of them.

I’m going to enjoy my last day of Wowcation and be ready to go for it on Thursday!
