The Legendary Quest – The Climb #752

I know it seems like I do nothing but play games at the moment. It just feels like all the games I play have events or deadlines around now.

The latest of these is Warcraft but it’s a deadline that’s been set by the guild rather than by me.

Going for my legendary, I decided to skip upgrading and go for the highest tier. In hindsight this was a mistake. The legendary needs soul ash from Torghast but I’d only been unable to unlock Tier 4, which meant my weekly soul ash was minimal. Hence, I’m still without a legendary.

Sludgefist was a bit of a pain and so the guild wants that progression raiders all have legendaries. That’s fair. I have all the parts for it except the soul ash.

Guildies have said that they would help me but when I’ve been on, no one has been around to help. So I’ve been a bit stuck. But we arranged to do some with guildies today and I got to experience playing Torghast with others for the first time.

It was a lot of fun and we managed to do Tier 8. It’s great I have them now unlocked and I think IF I get a tier 8 run done tomorrow before reset and a couple of runs between Wednesday and Sunday then I’ll have all the soul dust I need to craft my ilevel 235 legendary.

If not, I’ll just craft a tier 4 and upgrade later.

It was a lot of fun, and whilst I did spend a few hours playing, it’s not like I spent the entire day doing so. I also got a bunch of editing done.

Obviously I’d prefer to get more editing and less gaming done but I have new season of Fortnite tomorrow, a new Pokemon event and a raid. And I can only edit so much before my eyes go square and I need to take a break. Edits are going well, so I’m not going to be too hard on myself.

I’ll be more upset if I get to Sunday and can’t raid because I don’t have enough Soul ash to craft my legendary.
