Thursday 7^th May 2020

This has been the most difficult week since restarting The Climb. It’s been one of those weeks where a lot has been going on in real life. Nothing exciting, but just one of those weeks when lots needs to be done in a short period of time.

It’s meant that with each day I’m feeling more tired. We have a bank holiday tomorrow and with it a Pokemon event. Ordinarily I’d be clearing my bags down ready for the event but I’ve not found the time or energy to even do that. I talk more about it tomorrow, but it’s basically a bonus event so I’m not expecting much from it.

I’ve also set myself some grueling gold targets in Warcraft. The money can be made, the problem is that amount of time it takes. Whilst I like it that I can just switch off my brain at the end of the day

So as a result of all this, I’m behind on getting issues of The Climb out, which is annoying, as in my weekly review this week it was one of the things I wanted to work on getting better at.

But, I recognised this week was likely to be busy. Just because I haven’t made as much progress on my writing as I would have liked, doesn’t mean it hasn’t been for a good reason.

My plan is to try and catch up. I have notes and half-written entries for The Climb which I’ll post when I get time.

Maybe next week, I can try and be a bit more on target.
