Swapping over to a digital notebook can be a scary transition for a writer.

But just as the typewriter was replaced by the word processor, so the humble notebook is replaced with apps we can access from our phones and computers.

After years of never really getting the point of Evernote, the move to Notion a few years ago with all it’s database features was a real Eureka moment. No longer did I have a digital Notebook, I had an entire writing productivity system.

In this video I go through the features of Notion, show how easy it is to build some great systems such as a simple submission tracker and writing projects database, and explain why I feel Notion is essential for writers look to be as efficient as possible.
